Laureate Phi Chapter organizes public events, usually on a bi-annual basis, that support specific organizations, notably the Fairy Godmother Project, Dress for Success Ottawa, Pearls for Girls, and the Guatemala Stove Project.


In addition, our Chapter annually supports other organizations through financial donations and/or volunteer time including Shepherds of Good Hope, Dress for Success Ottawa, the MS Society Christmas Party, the Beta Sigma Phi Endowment to the Ottawa Hospital, as well as many others.

Tri-Chapter Trivia Night

On October 14, 2016, Xi Epsilon Pi (Richmond) Preceptor Alpha Eta (Ottawa) and Laureate Phi (Ottawa) are joining together to host a Trivia Night and hope you are able to join us.  Book your tickets early as this will be a sell-out event.

Details for the evening: 


  • The event will take place October 14 at 9 pm.
  • Location is the Glen Restaurant, 6081 Hazeldean Rd, Stittsville.
  • Tickets are limited to 84 •Come early for dinner and stay for the event (ensure you advise the hostess you are part of the trivia night) – or join us in time for the 9pm start.
  • Tables are for 4, 6 or 8 – create your own table or simply book a ticket and we’ll set you up with other competitors.
  • Tickets are $12.00 •Proceeds will be donated (recipients will be named in the near future – check this site regularly for these details).
  • $12 Tickets are limited and will go fast.  We encourage you to order your tickets now (and pay at September City Council) by contacting Carole Lowe at or by phone at (613) 271-0195.


Trivia Details 

  • There are 5 categories of questions, created and announced by the Quiz Master (Gordon).
  • Each team listens to the questions and writes down an answer while music is played.
  • Answer sheets are swapped with another team and marked.
  • At the end of the night, Gordon announces the winner!
