About BSP

The friendship connection

Beta Sigma Phi is an international women's friendship network founded in Abilene Kansas in 1931 by Walter W. Ross.  The organization consists of over 200,000 women of all ages, interests, educational, and economic backgrounds. It’s the largest of its kind.

Lead by an International Office with Chapters and City Councils in every state of the United States, every province in Canada and 30 other countries.  There are about 22 “land based” and online Chapters in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

Although sisters come from different backgrounds, we all share the common principles of unity, love, and respect and uphold the ideals of being a member of Beta Sigma Phi - convey faithfulness, steady and earnest efforts and loyalty.
